Oppo AOTD: Yes
There are no good arguments against Formula E at Laguna Seca. The track is excellent, and it won’t violate any noise restrictions
But the locals won’t want the crowds!
Then the locals will expose their true devious selves.

Oh no, not the Formula E crowd! All 137 people invading! Can you imagine all the ruckus from fans fighting over whose turn it is to charge their car?

It would be really cool if Formula E would race at some actual tracks.

They avoid actual tracks, though, because they don’t want to be compared to other series in pace, especially with the extreme lift-and-coast they have to do for range reasons.

That’s ok because no major series races at Laguna Seca anymore ;_;
What about IMSA and PWC?
I said major series.

Also, since they’re cars are much slower in a straight line they prefer tracks without many straights and short ones at that. Which is why they race city circuits so much.

Although I should add Laguna Seca could maybe work. Although there is the that one straight on the back before the corkscrew, apart from the home straight of course.

This is the only way I’d see it, because I’m sure as hell not going to a city center to watch them.

Yes. I like this idea very much.
I will now spend my lunch hour on Forza running an E-machine around the track soon to be formerly known as Mazda Raceway.
